Alameda Youth Basketball (AYB) is a 501.3.c non-profit organization that manages a recreational basketball league for youth in Alameda, CA.  For over 20 years, boys and girls in grades 3-8 have practiced and played basketball with AYB.  The club's guiding mission is to provide every child in the league the opportunity to play basketball.  Volunteer coaches commit to teaching fundamentals and the concepts of sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership and fair play.  The club has grown through the support of countless volunteers who give their time for the benefit of Alameda's youth.  Volunteer Board members, coaches, officials and parents recognize the benefits of the AYB program and how it has contributed to the welfare of youth in the community through promoting the game of basketball.
